Why are Americans so cruel and condescending to Canadians?

I have read some of the comments from the responses and I am appalled. The American economy would be at a stand still without Canadian oil. Florida would be bankrupt without Canadian snowbirds. And you don't care about Canada. I am glad that Canada can help out the American economy with just a few of the examples I have given. By the way, most Canadians love America.
