Will I mess up my wedding ring by doing daily chores?

I just got married and we have a little girl so I am constantly washing bottles, dishes, and cleaning the house. I wash my hands many many times a day and also submerge them in soapy water many times a day also. I don't want my ring to get ruined but I also don't want to lose it so I am hesitant to take it off. I am really bad with losing things. It is a 14 karat gold ring with a natural emerald and 6 little diamonds. Thanks. :)
