REALLY CONFUSED ABOUT THE BIBLE! HELP?

Now faith without works is dead. But the good works that you do have nothing to do with your salvation. Salvation is only by faith but your good works proves your faith. There is nothing that you can do to redeem yourself. I do not know how to explain this any better. The good works you do proves your faith that is all. But your faith is where your salvation is.
